The CCBA is thrilled to welcome the LA County Community College District to its esteemed membership roster. Serving more than 200,000 students districtwide at nine campuses throughout Los Angeles County and covering nearly 900 square miles, the LACCD is the nation’s largest community college district and enrolls one of the most diverse student bodies in the country.
Dr. Carmen Dones, Dean of Academic Affairs at West Los Angeles College which offers the district’s only bachelor’s degree (dental hygiene) will join us during Pathways to Equity 2021 to share her compelling presentation which highlights how her college is closing the Latinx racial equity gap via the CCB.
